Raw Icelandic Fleece - Disa

Raw Icelandic fleece from fall 2023 shearing from ewe Disa. This skirted shearing has 2 pounds 3 ounces of soft brown thel (undercoat) and mohair like tog (overcoat). This fleece has a 5 inch staple and 2 inch thel. Skirted with some VM, we will go through before shipping to make sure we catch missed second cuts and vegetable matter.

Color ranges from rich brown to chocolate. Great for felting, spinning together for lopi yarn, separated for spinning, or making a felted rug. Now can be purchased by the pound!

Our farm is located in beautiful Door County, WI. The sheep are happily free range and have not been sprayed with insecticides.
